Proceedings Book and Special Issue (TRPRO) available

Once the Conference is finished, we are glad to present the access link (free download) for the Proceedings Book and the Special Issue in the journal Transportation Research Procedia (TRPRO).

We sincerely thank all the attendees, partners and sponsors for their confidence, and hoping that this stage in CIT 2021 has been successful and with high a level of quality.

INFO

14th Conference on Transport Engineering

The 14th Conference on Transport Engineering (CIT 2021) will be held from Burgos (Spain) from 6th to 8th of July 2021. The venue of the Conference will be the Higher Polytechnic School of the University of Burgos.

The slogan of the CIT 2021 is: “R-Evolution of Transport”.
This theme arises that the current situation of transport, with costs and externalities (congestion, emissions, fuel consumption, road accidents, etc.) increasingly higher, need a change to return to the sustainable path. Therefore, we can ask ourselves if we need to evolve the traditional modes of transport or, on the contrary, what is needed is a revolution, involving a really significant change in the current trend.

As in previous editions, the CIT 2021 seeks to promote national and international exchange of scientific and professional works in different areas of transport, in search of solutions that allow us to follow this “R-evolution of transport”. A selection of papers will be published in a special issue of the journal Transportation Research Procedia, by the international publisher Elsevier.

CIT is promoted by the Transport Engineering Forum (FIT), a non-profit academic organization, whose aim is to promote and organize the conference, as well as to ensure its quality and orientation.

FIT

The Forum of transport engineering (FIT) was constituted in the year 2000, as a non-profit association, aiming to convene and develop the Conference on Transport Engineering, as well as promoting activities related to any of the Transport Engineering areas, both at national and international level. In particular, training, research, technology transfer and the dissemination of the transport engineering. Furthermore, the Transport Engineering Forum (FIT) gives the opportunity to win the Rafael Izquierdo Prize to those who have presented a doctoral thesis, and organises the FIT Scientific Campus, last one in 2020 hold virtually as CAMPUS FIT 2020 Conference.
