SITEX 45 SRL has been involved for over 23 years as SME with R&D activities ,industry oriented on the basis of very successfully cooperation industry > “academia” > research institutions acting in micro/nanotechnologies innovative applications fields:
- R&D, manufacturing and prototyping of microelectronics components, optoelectronics devices, sensors and sensors arrays, transducers and microsystems as MEMS & MOEMS, microfluidic devices, semiconductor devices, RFID`s innovative devices & solutions
- R&D activity for new materials development and dedicated applications for micro & nanotechnologies
- Design and engineering for new/nanomaterials applications, such as nanostructures for microsystems and sensors,nanomaterials manufacturing, toxicology effects detection, monitoring and safety technologies
- Design and engineering of innovative MST/sensors applications for new materials developed by our specialized partner IMNR Bucharest (R&D Institute for nonferrous and rare metals) and INOE 2000 (Institute for Optoelectronics ) for biocompatible and multifunctional thin films (piezoelectric materials, ferroelectric, core/shell structured), ceramics and polymers nanocomposite, optical and special dopped glasses.
- Design and engineering for microcontamination control, monitoring systems, cleanroom technologies.

 

Key people

Dr.Dumitru Ulieru, MSc in Electrotechnical Eng. By Technical University Jassy (RO) and PhD in Microelectronics by Bucharest Polytechnic University 1997 (RO). R&D Director with SITEX 45 Bucharest for 10 years. He spent 12 years with ROMES SA (Romanian Electronic Modules and Semiconductors) as R&D Director and International Cooperation & Business Dvlp. Manager and 12 years with Microelectronica SA-Bucharest as Technical Manager. Dr Ulieru has more than 38 years of industrial manufacturing ,advanced study and research experience into national and European research in micro/nanotechnologies, microsystems MEMS & MOEMS development, sensors , microfluidics and actuators, semiconductors and power electronics, micro/optoelectronics manufacturing, integrated optics and photonics components and devices, smart systems integration and microcontamination control. Author for over 120 papers presented at conferences, workshops and symposiums .Member of more European and international associations and technological platforms as EPOSS (European Platform for Smart Systems Integration),ETPN, SPIE, IEEE, Photonics21, 4M (MultiMaterial MicroManufacture), EuMA(European Association for Microwaves ) , OE-A(Organic Electronics Ass), AMA (German Ass for sensors technology), Nanomedicine , AILU Laser industrial Users Ass (UK) , RPM Rapid Manufacturing Platform and EuRaMiG European Radio and Microwaves Interest Group , voting member of SEMI Standards Committees (USA). Advanced researches successfully developed on the fields of micro/nanotechnologies, new materials & nanomaterials, innovative products technologies and processes as project coordinator a/o project responsible for more national R&D programs like MATNANTECH(New materials, Micro and Nanotechnologies), CEEX (Research oF Excellence), PNII(Innovation and Partnerships) as well as for more European projects under FP5, FP6, FP7,H2020, Marie Curie, Eureka/Eurostar, MNT ERA NET & M-ERA-NET, Manunet, Euro-Nano-Med. He acted for 6 years as Industrial Advisory Board Member for 4M NoE (2005/2009) and since 2010 for 4M Association as of 2014 for 4M2020! Project coordinated by Birmingham University (UK).
